We are pleased to present our guest teachers for March: Chris and Beth Grover …for a whole month!

Veteran teachers that are well known for their in-depth study of the vintage look and feel of this dance. They are smooth an flowy and we are very happy to have them as guest instructors for March!

Lindy 1 Theme: Smooth and Stylish!

  • Week 1:Breaking down the swingout and smoothing out your Lindy Hop connection
  • Week 2:Spins and Turns: tips and techniques to keep your body moving
  • Week 3:Combining 6-count and 8-count moves for more flair
  • Week 4:Putting it all together to enhance your dancing!

Lindy 2 Theme: I’m Just A Jitterbug! Classic Big Band Swingin’ Style!

  • Week 1:Artistry Jumps: Turns and transitions that create seamless and fluid movement
  • Week 2:Sugar Foot Stomp: Slides, swivels and fun footwork variations that will take your dancing to a new level
  • Week 3:Rockin’ in Rhythm: Smooth combos and syncopated movements that will encourage your musicality
  • Week 4:Flying Home: Never sit the fast songs out again! We’ll explore dancing above the 180 beats-per-minute threshold and demystify the “Flying Lindy”
